Truck Helper

Job Summary:

The Truck/Equipment Helper assists the driver or equipment operator with daily work, loading and unloading materials, basic equipment care, and maintaining a safe work area.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist drivers and equipment operators during daily operations.
• Help load, unload, and secure materials and equipment.
• Assist in checking and cleaning trucks and equipment.
• Help with basic maintenance and minor tasks as instructed.
• Guide trucks and equipment when moving or parking.
• Keep the work area clean and organized.
• Follow instructions from the Driver, Operator, Supervisor, or Foreman.
• Wear required PPE and follow all site safety rules.
• Report unsafe conditions, equipment damage, or problems immediately.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

EDUCATION, TECHNICAL CAPABILITY AND CAREER

1. High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred

2. With at least 5 years working experience

3. Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends and overtime

4. With Professional Drivers License restriction 1,2,3

5. With Light Vehicle Driving NC II certificate
