Site Engineer

The Site Engineer is responsible for assisting in the supervision and monitoring of construction activities at the project site, ensuring that work is completed according to approved plans, specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and project schedules.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor daily construction activities at the project site.
• Ensure construction works follow approved plans, drawings, specifications, and schedules.
• Coordinate with the Project Engineer, foremen, workers, subcontractors, suppliers, and other site personnel.
• Monitor work progress, manpower, materials, equipment, and site requirements.
• Conduct site inspections and identify quality issues, defects, or deviations from plans.
• Prepare daily progress reports, site records, measurements, and other required documentation.
• Assist in quantity take-offs, material estimates, and verification of completed works.
• Monitor compliance with safety rules and report unsafe conditions or incidents.
• Assist in resolving technical and site-related issues and coordinate corrective actions.
• Coordinate with the warehouse/logistics team regarding material and equipment requirements.
• Attend site meetings and provide updates on project progress and concerns.
• Perform other duties related to the project as assigned by the Project Engineer or management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related engineering field.
• Preferably with relevant construction/site experience.
• Knowledge of construction methods, plans, drawings, and specifications.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in MS Office and relevant engineering/construction software.
• Willing to work on project sites and travel when required.
• PRC license is an advantage.
